Thin for style; malt flavours are very simple, and not balanced off with anything. Tastes like corn was used, but I don't know for sure. Bargain bock (actually popular in Canada for its alcohol/price ratio).

Fresh bottle
Deep black with a red hue, Dark brown foamy head with moderate retention. Fruity, wooden roasted and slightly minerally aroma. Rough wooden edges, roasted malt and coffeeground - the flavor peters off quite fast after that though, a wooden and fruity note remains. Lightish body, frictionless mouthfeel.

Very dark brown; nose blends coffee, malt and lemonade; highly irregular palate. Smooth body; all ingredients are present somewhere - the butter-rum flavours and oiliness, the stout underpinning and the lemony, refreshing finish. A lot better than it deserves to be.
