Description

0.33 l bottle from 'De Bierkoning', best before January 2021. Hazy, deep amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral and slightly grassy aroma of caramel, honey, lemon peel and some grass. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, fruity-floral, slightly grassy and a bit resiny taste of caramel, honey, orange peel, some grass and a touch of pine, followed by a short, gently bitter, moderately resiny and slightly grassy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Pretty decent beer, actually one of the best I've ever tasted from Amstelveen.

Bottle. Dark brown color, cloudy, no head whatsoever. Malt, caramel in the aroma. Malty sweetish flavor with cookie caramel. Very low on carbon. Not unpleasant, but this beer is not what it could and should be.
