Rapportée de chez CWG Barnside Brewery. Agrumes et épices en olfactif. Notes de citron, de pamplemousse, de poivre. Liquide doré, limpide, avec une mousse rocailleuse assez tenace. En bouche, les houblons fraichement cueillis avec leurs notes de verdure dominent tout en s’alliant aux accents poivrés. Des sous-notes tropicales aux tons de litchi et de fruit de la passion s’insèrent dans la palette. La base maltée, bien qu’en support, n’apporte qu’une légère composante sucrée à l’ensemble. Houblons frais sont la dominante dans cette IPA plutôt standard. Moyennement appréciée ! O:5.25 V:5.0 G:7.1 C:4.5 G:12.6 T:34.45

Cannette rapportée de chez CWG Barnside Brewery. Les composantes maltées se distinguent dans un olfactif aux notes céréalières subtilement caramélisées laissant paraître un très léger fond de verdure. Liquide ambré et limpide. Mousse moyennement petite, semi crémeuse et assez persistante. Les houblons sont un peu plus présents en bouche avec les accents maltés toujours dominants avec esters fruités surprenamment agréables. Notes de céréales légèrement caramélisées avec esters rappelant la cerise. Les houblons sont délicats, épicés et herbacés s’étalant sur une amertume moyennement douce et subtilement terreuse. On aurait apprécié d’avantage si le profil houblonné et la fraicheur des houblons avait été mis davantage de l’avant. Appréciée ! O:4.7 V:4.75 G:7.29 C:4.25 G:14.59 T:35.58

Cannette de CWG Barnside Brewery Arômes de pain assortis de houblons herbacés fraichement cueilli. Mousse pétillante qui ne tient pas sur le liquide doré pâle et limpide. Entrée de bouche maltée relevant des notes de pain frais sans être miellées. Les houblons sont légèrement poivrés et herbacés et procurent une amertume douce. La fraicheur des houblons est facilement décelable par le caractère légèrement verdâtre de la finale même si ces derniers demeurent en douceur. Une bière jeune, sans grande complexité, mais tout de même agréable. O:7.48 V:3.41 G:6.51 C:4.64 G:13.41 T:35.45

Thanks to AleRider78 for this can from brewery. Pours a slight hazy golden colour with an amber-pinkish hue. The shows this warmth with some frothiness, bubble, good stay and foamy lacing. The hibiscus and rose hips gives a nice fruitiness to the nose. The taste has this as well, but the lower alcohol makes all lighter. Bière de table it is, with added fruitiness, so nice for what this does.

Thanks to AleRider78 for this can from the brewery. Pours a black colour with no highlights I can see. Beautiful creamy-frothy light mocha-coloured head with good retention and foamy-creamy lacing. Aromas are a nice blend of chocolate and roasted malts. The mouthfeel is fairly dry and goes down smoothly. The taste shows more roasted malt with some hints of dark fruits and decent hops in the finish. Quite a nice dry stout.
