9/7/2020. Cask take-out from the Duke of York, Ipswich. Pours black with a small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, light roasted malt, coffee and dark fruits. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, smooth texture, soft carbonation. Finish nice roasty and a little ashy. Quite tasty.

9/7/2020. Cask at the Duke of York, Ipswich. Pours attractive clear deep amber with a bubbly/frothy off-white head. Aroma is caramel, malt and fruit. Moderate sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, soft carbonation. Easy drinking, uncomplicated bitter.

Bubbly off white head left a froth on a dark amber coloured still body. Malt & caramel aroma. Medium to thin bodied, smooth on the front with slightly carbonated back. Sweet, jam, caramel, malt & stone fruit tastes.

Cask gravity at White Cliffs BF 2020. Amber colour lasting white head sweetish toffee IPA. Some citrus flavours. Mostly sweet though. It's fine. Nothing special. Finish has a bit of a bite.

4/1/2020. Cask at the Duke of York, Ipswich. Pours amber red/brown with a small bubbly/creamy off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, red berries, biscuit, dried fruit and a touch of Christmas cake spice. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Has a slight medicinal edge.

Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Quite drinkable.

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A reddish chestnut pour with a tight white head; aroma of caramel and red fruit; sweet biscuity body with some raisin and toffee. A pleasant Christmasy bitter.

Cask hand pull at the moon under water Watford Jdw. A clear amber orange coloured pour with a lasting creamy beige head. Aroma is subdued, nutty malts, raisin, cake. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, smooth, toffee, fruit cake, low jammy fruits, grape. Eaters. Good layering. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, somewhat creamy, good condition. Hint of diacetyl but at low enjoyable levels.
