Description
On the outskirts of Billund, just a stone's throw from the expansive Jutland heaths, lays Dansk Mjød. A traditional brewery which has brewed mead since 1994 on the basis of old recipes and with an uncompromising focus on quality and ingredients. It is the endless stories and myths about mead, which still inspire Dansk Mjød to create products that combine the ancient brew craft and tradition with a modern eye for quality and tastes.

Bottle sample at The Hop Shop. Reddish color, still. Floral cherry and rose wine aroma. Taste is sweet floral berries full body. Tasty

Bottle @ [ DØE - Ølfestival 2018 ] @ Lokomotivværkstedet, Otto Busses Vej 5A, 2450 Copenhagen SV, Denmark. [ As Dansk Mjød Fadlagret Fad 01 Nr.16 ].Clear light to medium amber colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate honey, sweet honey, wood, oak, alcohol, light fruity honey. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, alcohol, honey, oak - wood, fruity notes. Body is medium, texture is syrupy - watery, carbonation is flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. Bottle DØE 18. As I recall this was labelled "01 bryg nr. 16". Amber colour. Light malty and hoppy nice honey aroma. Moderate bitter and sweet wonderful flavor. Long finish. Creamy palate. Nice.

DØE. Hazy golden with no head. Aroma is honey, spices, oak and alcohol. Flavour is honey, spices, Christmas spices, sweet, alcohol and warming.
