Corked bottle. Pours translucent gold with sparse bubbles. Aroma of apple and herb. Med body. Flavor is honey, herb, apple. Sugary with some herb bitterness. Interesting.

Tap at the birch Norfolk Virginia. A clear golden amber coloured pour with no head. Aroma is alcohol, earthy amber, ginger.. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, woody ginger, tangy, brown sugars, amber sugars, alcohol, earthy honey. Palate is sticky sugary. Moderate fine carbonation.

Hazy, still, yellow-orange $12 bottle pour @Meddlesome Moth. Never see pours available anywhere. They had the Viking's Blood too, but my stomach was acting up. Scent is waxy, sugary & herbal. Bittersweet, leaning absolutely sweet. Rich floral honey, hint of mallow, thought of clove, mellow acidity from the apples cuts with a general, murky apple filling flavor throughout. Oily, coating residual. Increasingly warming. Big belly burn. Great sipper. Less medicinal than some of their others. Enjoyed it that much more.

Draught. Orangeish golden colour with no head. Aroma is honey, some floral and mild elderflowery notes along with some slight alcohol. Flavour is wooden, florla, sweet honey, some caramel as well as some alcohol and mild floral notes. Quite stinging alcohol in this one.
