Glass from the bottle, at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours fairly hazy, opaque amber, with no foam. Unattractive. Aroma is surprisingly not so obviously honey, being herbal, floral, spicy Body is thick, with no carbonation. Quite a spiciness and stickiness. Taste is intensely sweet, somehow balanced by the above-mentioned spiciness. Final is pretty long, sweet and spicy.

Well, my ancestors were largely Vikings so it’s only natural to have some Mjod in hand while excursioning through the woods. Boozy.
