Bottled at RBESG. Copper colour. Honeyish menthe aroma. Very sweet with medium body, notes of eucalypthus. Honey dominates, but it avoids being sticky or cloying. Soothing, but not complex.

(Ceramic bottle 75 cl) Clear, very dark amber. Dark, vinous notes - not unlike port. Distinct sweetness, but the honey notes are not as strong as in other meads. Extremely complex and refined flavour pattern with impressions of dried or even overripe fruit. Lovely warming alcohol. 170605

[At Københavnske Øldage 2005] A hazy amber beer with a disappearing off-white head. The aroma is sweet hoppy combined with honey. The flavor is malty with lots of honey notes, but also hints of rosehips, and a dry end. Nice combination.

Draught. Plum, grain, raisin aroma. Some notes reminding me of sangria. Cloudy, dark copper colour, almost no head. Very sweet raisin flavour. Mouthfeel is nice, a little thick and sugary. A very sweet drink, but quite nice and not too cloying.

[Vintage 2001 - sampled 2005] A dark nut-brown mead ofcourse with no head. The aroma is very sweet with powerful notes of honey and lesser notes of rosehips. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of honey, pollen, and rosehips. The mouthfeel is smooth and the body powerful, leaving a little alcohol burn on the tongue and in the cheeks.
