Bottle. Clear, golden mead. Flowers, honey, sugar and heather in the aroma. Honey, alcohol, heather and sweetness in the mouth. Sweetish and oily mouthfeel. I liked the aroma, but it tasted bad and had too much alcohol. (070430)

Bottle. Clear, golden, with a white head. Malt, honey, flowers and sugar in the aroma. The flavor has sweetness and honey, some dried fruits, candied citron-peel, and some nuttyness and cardamom notes. Medium body. The finish has honey, sweetness and candied citron-peel. Way to much honey for my taste. (070427)

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a hazy, amber golden with an off-white head. Sweetish aroma with the honey really showing. Quite full-bodied with a soft mouthfeel and a heavy honey sweetness. The bitterness is very subdued. Quite lovely. 050407

Bottled. An amber beer with a slight haze under a huge off-white head. The aroma is quite sweet with notes of dust, honey, flowers, and rose hips. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of honey hitting right away, then comes notes of rose hips, malt, candy sugar, and flowers along, leading to a sweet honey end, though with a slight bite from the alcohol. A very interesting mixture of mead and beer.

First rating70 cl bottle bought in Copenhagen. Tried on August 27, 2006. Clear amber to golden color (of course no head and no CO2). Sweet honey and spice of some sort scent, also of alcohol. Indeed a very sweet smell. Behind it all some sorts of citrus fruit scent, perhaps the spice "crushed peels of Seville orange" is used? Very smooth mouth feel, sweet but also a bit spicy taste. A bit oily feeling. (No bitterness of course...) I really like this one, but I guess I don’t judge it after the same scale as I usually rate beer.9/4/8/4/16=4.1RerateBottle at mead tasting on November 2, 2012.Thanks to Nisse666!Clear copper color, very small bubbly head. Sweet, alcohol, resin scent. Dandelion, alcohol, raissin, resin taste. Warming alcohol. Smooth mouthfeel, sweet finish.8/3/8/4/16=3.9
