Cask at PoW. Some sweet tinged malts but overall lacking in aroma. Has the appearance of a flat glass of coke. Light bitter with a sweet and sour edge. All rather low key though. Light in body and thin. Average carbonation. Abrupt finish. Drinkable due to being so inoffensive but Pilgrim really do produce the blandest of beers.

Bottle from Flower Farm Shop, Godstone. Aroma: pine? I guess. Herbal I guess. But there's also a sour yeast element to it. Dark amber. The big fluffy head soon shrinks to a few mm. It is earthy but does have a hoppy bitterness. Light-medium bodied. On the thin side. Average carbonation. Long finish. I was wondering what I'd end up adding this as - an ESB or a Session IPA? However due to the hoppy side to it's character I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt. Interesting enough but definitely has the body of a hopped up bitter under the cloak.

Cask@Earl Ferrers, Streatham, London - (Looks like this beer has resurfaced after 4 years in the RB wilderness) pours Amber with a white head. Toasted malty with some caramel malty sweetness, some cereal, slight nutty, twiggy herbal hoppy bitter action into the finish. Decent.

Cask at the White Bear, Fickleshole. An attractive dark amber pour, crystal clear with a loose white head; ,malty aroma; fruity taste with a rounded bitterness; and a biscuit finish. Pleasant, but not particularly memorable.
