Appearance is golden and clear, a few bubbles, a white foamy head which hangs around. Aroma- toffee malt, caramel biscuit, some fruity hops. Taste- hop bitterness, fruity hops, smooth and a bit watery in the mouth, slightly sweet finish with toffee malt.

Okay beige head and dark copper body. Soft murky barley aroma. Flavour is soft chocolate and coffee, okay mouthfeel leaning to a little watery. Rather boring if I’m being kind.

Some raisin or prune too. Taste - burnt bread, dark chocolate. Fudge or molasses in small doses. Palate - medium bodied and creamy. Dry crunchy finish. Overall - a nice Bitter.

Bottle. Deep amber in colour, with a moderately sized, off-white, head. Malty bitter, with plenty of berry fruit, caramel, bready notes and a gentle finish. Fine.
