[50cl from Burley Dam Garden Centre on the Wirral.] A bright golden amber pour with a fast fading white head; aroma of stewed grains with a touch of orange; taste of over boiled malts; and a sharp herbal bitterness to finish. Bordering on unpleasant.

Clear but bubbly gold with a bubbly white head and a very mellow cereal and fruit aroma. Light bodied, a touch fruity and hoppy and bitter.

[50cl bottle from a garden centre on the Wirral.] A pale amber pour with a loose white head; English hop aroma; biscuity malt body with a light hoppy bitterness. A pleasant English style IPA, very drinkable.

500ml bottle drank at home on 9th June 2025. Clean golden body, white crown. Nice enough blend of malts and British hops, nothing exciting or different, just an old school Golden Ale with no citrus fruits within miles!

500ml bottle (part of a three pack), a present from a friend. Shared with another friend (Mike) on 7th June 2025. Clean and clear russet/amber body, off white head on each pour. Malty front with a solid hop presence, surprisingly good for a 'joke beer' really. One more from the pack to try, been OK so far.

500ml bottle (part of a three pack), a present from a friend. Shared with another friend (Mike) on 7th June 2025. Clean light golden body, decent white crown on each share. Surprising pleasant to be honest, nice blend of malty sweetness and hoppy earthy bitterness. I wonder who really brews this for them?

Old rating from 03-06-16 - 500ml bottle, pours a golden fairly clear colour with a very small white head that disappears quickly. Aromas of hints of sour orange. Tastes is again of mild sour orange, grass & malt. Aftertaste is very mildly bitter.
