Description

Bottle from Luppolo 12 Bottle Shop, Rome. Pours slightly hazy gold to amber with a good sized bubbly off-white head leaving excellent lacing. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, pine, bitter orange, banana, resin, malt, light caramel and just a hint of pepper. Moderate sweetness and medium to heavy fruity bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Finish is bitter. Liked this.

Draft at Lambiczoon. Dark brown pour. Aroma of soft tart, red fruit, oak and yeast. Rich taste of soft acidic sourness, red fruit, oak, booze and subtle soft smoke and peat in the finish. Very elegant and flavorful, really good.

Bottle, gift from daniele (thank you!). Dorata carica, schiuma media leggera. In bocca è maltata, poco equilibrata, finale amaro inconsistente. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione leggera. Un po’ ossidata.

Bottle, thanks daniele. Clean and deep amber color, frothy and medium off-white cap. Nose: something strange really (age?), ripped fruit. Mouth: a bit better although with some off notes.
