Slightly hazy medium amber. The aroma is mature and woody, quite nutty. This hazelnut character is evident, with a lot of sweetness as well. Very rich, nutty mead.

Bottle split at the ABC Beers pre Borefts tasting, 24/09/15. Clear cherry red with a moderate crimson swirl. Nose is big on apples, sweet, faint honey, straw. Taste comprises sharper apples, sweetness drops a little, booze licks. Medium + bodied, moderate carbonation, sweet boozey close. Ok.
