Description

Bottle, vintage 2016. Pours cloudy amber. Aroma is peach, vinegar, funk, almost metallic. Body is medium, still peaches, some sourness and softly tart. Feels a bit unfermented and light. Thinnish and a bit watery. Probably better when fresh.

Tap at Macche in Roma, 2014 keg. Pours purple light, off-white foam with reddish highlights. Nose: jam of red fruit, mild sour, sweet notes of red grape, wood. Very peculiar and intensive. Mouth: reminessence of the “Demon”, the aging perhaps enhanced the vinousity...a bit too much imo. Anyway, very tasty.

2015 vintage bottle shared at So Good in Rome. Hazy orangey pour, white foam. Nose: peach forward, yeast, softly jam. Mouth is great: carbonation is medium-high, it mirrors the nose. Jam of apricot and peach, esile body, rich in taste anyway. A triumph of fruit.

Bottle thanks to Sarah! Pours a hazy orange amber with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a decent amount of tart fruits and dry red wine with a hint of sweetness underlying. Flavor has an interesting combination of dark wine, tart fruits, sweet grains and a bit of an oak note.
