Bomber. Tall Boys, Leeds. 5.5%. Clear, amber colour. Good, dense, lasting, white head. Nose is bready, and yeasty. Stewed apple. Soft herb. Taste is slightly sweet. Thin mouthfeel. Thin finish. Smells ok, but after that it’s not great.

Poured up on tap at Hopwater in SF where it exhibits a crystal clear copper body that supports a thin off white head. The aroma offers up candy like citrus and mango and then inviting onion like spicy dankness. The taste delivers pleasing deep spicy onion dankness as well as a bit of resiny pine hops and grapefruit. It struggles with being juicy and fruity as well as but is rather straight up spicy and bitter dankness. This is pretty rich and deep and balanced. Solid.

0,5l bottle at home shared with a friend. no obvious BB date. amber hazy color, small white head. smells of resin, candy, light sweetness, some herbs, spices, lightly stale hoppy. decent smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of pines, resin, bit watery, spices, peppery, bit stale hoppy, lightly uncleanliness, lemon grass. finishes lightly bitter, a bit candiish with notes of pines, lemon grass and some old hops. OKish beer, but rather old hoppy and heavy. (not sure how old my can was).

Can from London Drinker BF 2016 and drunk at home. Hazy amber orange gold colour. Lasting thick beige head. Sticky resiny hop grapefruit. Sticky resiny flavour. Some peppery bitterness on the finish. It’s just a bit over the top. Too sticky for me. Hoppy without doubt. Just a touch over the top with the hops. Lacks balance. Some sweetness. Just mostly resin grapefruit hops. Entertaining but just too over the top to be truly drinkable.

Sampled draft @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Dark amber orange, little white head. Nose is sweet industrial woody herbal syrup, oddly sticky, unpleasant with low pine resin. Taste is weird plaster, dough, industrial woody syrup,… Feels processed almost. Not a fun, unpleasant industrial-like syrup affair.

473ml can from Hippo Beers. Deep orange amber colour, creamy foam head leaving lacing and nose of tropical fruits, floral citrus, hop resins. Flavour is malt caramel, flowery, spicy citrus, grapefruit & pine woody, with tangy resiny hop bitterness. Slightly oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft to carbonation, dry earthy lingering bitter finish. Nicely drinkable IPA.

473ml can from Firma bier. Pours dark orange with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet caramely malts, pine, resinous hops, grass and hints of gooseberries. Taste is sweetish, malty and resinous with some pine, grass, aged hops and hints of caramel. Finish is lingering bitter, crisp and resinous with hints of caramely malts. Okay, quite bitter and resinous malty IPA. --- Beer merged from original tick of Tunnel Vision on 13 Feb 2016 at 17:31 - Score: 7

650ml bottle [80 IBUs]. Clear amber colour with average, firm, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Citrusy and piney, hoppy aroma, hints of tangerine and grapefruit, a touch of orange, caramel malty basis with a nuttily touch. Taste is bitter and piney hoppy, slightly chalky, dry hints of nut pellicle, caramel malty basis. OK.
