[Tasting @ yespr – Courtesy of yespr] Brown with large off white head. Sweet aroma with juniper berries and roasted malt. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, fruits, that being juniper berries, liquerice and coffee.

33 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with an amber hue. Aroma is distinct juniper and malt. Roasted malt flavour with a nice berry flavour cutting through from the juniper. Ends with a slight acidic note from the roasted malt and berries.

[Draught @ DBF] Hazy golden with off white head. Aroma is sweet with honey and fruity notes. Sweet flavor with honey, fruits. flowers and a mild bitter finish.

[Druaght @ DBF 2004] Brown with off white head. Aroma is malty with fruits. Flavor is sweet malty with caramel and fruity notes.

Bottle. brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, orange, malt. Flavour is orange, malt, sweet, hop, fruit, spices. Nice beer.

66cl bottle: Orange amber with a white head. Hoppy - sweet & bitter aroma. Flowers, peach & malts. Very refined bitterness. Smooth, well rounded - very nicely balanced. Citrus freshness. Very drinkable IPA.

Bottle. Mostly clear, copper body with some yeasty cloudyness and a nice but diminishing, dense, beige head. Sweetness, caramel, a little roastyness, some spicyness and hops in the aroma. The flavor is sweet and a bit fruity, roasted, and slightly coffee-ish, and has a touch of spices. Full to medium body and a long, sweet and a bit spiced finish with a nice bitterness. It’s brewed for Christmas, and I think it would do nice at Christmas time as well. A well-crafted brew. Rating: 7-4-7-4-15-3.7. (071027)

Bottle. It pours a clear amber body with a small beige head. Orange-peel, honey, caramel-notes and malt in the aroma. Actually a touch of alcohol too, but only a touch. In the mouth too, there’s orange-peel, tasting more like the white layer between the peel and the orange. There’s also honey, malt, a little grainy touch, a hint of alcohol, and a little bitterness. It’s more like orange-peel bitterness than hoppy bitterness. Full-bodied and with a pleasant carbonation level. Orange, honey, sweetness and bitterness blended nicely in the finish. Medium duration. Even though the honey and orange-peel are supposed to do a lot of the job, I would like it hoppier and more hop-bitter, but it’s a nice and quite delicious beer. Compared to other beers, it don’t deserve my rating, but on the other hand, I’m not sure where to cut down. And I usually don’t like honey in my beers either. Ended up lowering the overall by a point. (081028)

66 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy orange, with a dense white head. Mild grainy to sweet hoppy aroma. Flavour holds a slight orange peel note on top of a solid hops bitterness. Nice twsit to the hops, yet simple. Overly yeasty flavoured. Nice.

66 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a dense off-white head. Aroma is slight malty and slight spiced. Flavour starts sweet caramel malty and with a slight herbal flavour. Finish holds a mild malt to herbal note. Nice.

66 cL bottle. Pours golden reddish towards orange with a dense orange head. Aroma is malty and slight fruity. Flavour is nice caramel flavoured with a mild note of fresh hops. Nice bitter and slight fruity finish. Nice brew.
