Gulbrun klar med hvitt skum. Lukter lys sirup, karamell og kjeller. Lett. Smaker lyst brød, noe sitrus og noe karamell. Kort.

Had this at home Sunday 6th July 2025 after Loz and I spent an hour working in the vegetable patch, picking Mange Tout, weeding etc. We walked to Gasthof zum Sonnewald Schöfweg earlier for a beer. Listening to Pitchforks Shoegaze Top 50 albums (but playlist with one track from each album). Pours clear warm gold with a large white head, sweet'ish', some cereal, there's a very subtle bitterness, However tbf this does build, the hoppiness is quite shy. Nice mouthfeel, clean, fresh and with a pleasant finish.

Sehr helle, goldene Farbe. (Fast) glasklar.

500ml can via the Costco German Biergarten Collection, drank in California on 18th April 2025. It looks great, lovely red hue to the brown/mahogany body, clean and clear with a beige crown that stayed around. It's like a mixture of a Dusseldorf Alt and a Bavarian Dunkel, semi-sweet and malty, minimal hop action.

500ml can from the Costco German Biergarten Collection (as a 5.6% ABV Premium Weihnachts Festbier). It's a BBQ and Pool Day here in Laguna Hills according to my grand daughters, so I've been in the pool and am now having my third new rate in the shade awaiting the BBQ bit of the day. This poured into an old Corsendonk stemmed tulip glass looked fine; bright, clean and clear golden body, huge (at first) billowing white head. Fruity, malty flavour, aroma not so inviting. Liked the feel of this but not the small that came from it, boiled rotting fruit came to mind.

500ml can from the Costco German Biergarten Collection. Drank while watching the Japanese Grand Prix (in California on TV) on 5th March 2025. Hint of a haze in the golden pour, short lived white head. Nothing to get excited about (just like the Grand Prix I watched), a bog standard German Pils in all aspects really.

500ml can via the Costco German Biergarten Collection. Drank in California on 1st April 2025 while on holiday. Clean and clear golden body, snow white crown that tried to hang around. A little more grainy than hoppy, mild grassy and bready nose, taste similar, slight bittering finish.

500 ml can from the Costco German Biergarten Collection. Pours a crystal clear mahogany color with a large, thick khaki head and excellent retention. Great lacing too. Pretty pour. Caramel and dark malt aroma. The taste follows the nose: Dark malt flavor up front, with a caramel malt finish. Slightly sweet. Super clean and smooth, almost creamy. One of the best beers in the collection. Medium body. Medium-light carbonation. Low bitterness. Prost!
