Description
We’re Josh and Frankie, husband and wife. We set up The Park Brewery in 2014 with the aim of creating really sumptuous juicy beers. Hop forward, stand out ales to be savoured and enjoyed.
Inspired by the new wave of microbreweries surfacing at the time, and loving the great beers coming through, Josh purchased a home brew kit to learn more about the process and started experimenting with the wonderful world of hops.
We named ourselves The Park Brewery due to our location, next to our favourite open space – Richmond Park. In an increasingly fast paced world, time out and nature is really important to us. We like to think our beer represents this – a moment to reflect – beer to be considered and enjoyed.

Cask gravity at Croydon Craft 2016. It pours lightly hazy amber with a quickly dissipating white head. The nose is rich, sweet, fragrant, orange blossom, tangerine, peach, marzipan and brioche. The taste is bitter, resinous, perfumed, orange peel, waxy, oily, grassy with a dry finish. Medium body, fine carbonation and slick mouth-feel. Rather decent.

Cask gravity at Croydon Craft 2016. It pours clear amber with a decent bubbly white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, orange blossom, peach, apricot, gooseberry, brioche and orange muffin. The taste is smooth, bitter, oily, orange sponge cake, waxy citrus, orange blossom, straw, pepper and cereal with a dry, citrusy finish. Light - medium body, soft carbonation and oily mouth - feel. Not bad, could be done with a touch more carbonation.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from the Richmond Brewers’ Fair, pours clear gold, effervescent, with a creamy white head. The nose holds pleasant citrusy hops, pale bread, tangerine, peach. Light sweet flavor with some rindy citrus, biscuits, some off phenolic notes, light plastic, hay, pale grains, hints of tangerine and grapefruit. Light bob died with average, lively carbonation. Lightly citric in the finish, with mild astringency, plastic, more biscuity pale malts, lemon rind, peach, mandarin orange. Close to being really drinkable, but the phenolics really detract.
