(Cask at Cock Tavern, Hackney, London, 25 Apr 2013) Hazy yellow colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grass and lemon peel. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, passion fruit, lychee, bready malt and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Nice one.

Cask at Cock Tavern. It pours hazy golden with medium white head. The nose is pungent hoppiness, orange, mango, light dough and pine. The taste is bitter pine, juicy citrus, orange, tangerine, mango, passion fruit, nice level of bitterness, resin and varnish with a dry, rather bitter finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. Very drinkable indeed!

Fruity, hoppy taste with grainy malt, citrus, tropical fruit, grass and a fresh, generous citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and refreshing. Nice one.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a cloudy amber with an orange hue and a bubbly white head with some broken lace. The aroma is hugely hoppy and rich leading to a medium bitter flavour with loads of hoppy spicy dry peppery flavours dancing around on the palate. This a super tasty, rich and satisfying beer. Drink it young!

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the Cock Tavern. Pours lightly hazy gold with a fine, foamy white head. Smells amazing, lots of dry grapefruit, tangerine and pineapple. Light sweet flavor with crispy pale malts, lots more pithy grapefruit, some bitter citrus rind, hints of pine needles. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dry, pithy citrus finish, lots of bitter citrus rind, grapefruit, mild tangerine. Pretty exceptional for a hoppy, low ABV sessioner. (3.8)

Cask at the Cock Tavern - London. Pours clear gold with a slight, filmy white head. Ripe citrus nose, orange, melon, hints of dry straw. Light to medium sweet flavor with sugary citrus fruits, a bit of orange rind bitterness, straight orange, tangerine, mango and melon, faint dry minerals and hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Perhaps sits a bit heavy for the ABV. Sweet citrus fruit finish, slight marmalade, more orange, light citrus peel. Very nice overall.

Bottle at the Cock Tavern. It pours cloudy amber with a medium white head. The nose is earth, dough, spice, light fruitiness, apple, pear and melon. The taste is spice, dough, earth, hay, soft fruitiness, apple, white grape, pear and decent bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Well rounded and rather drinkable. Good stuff.

The taste is smooth, orange, tangerine, earth, straw, minerals, light spice and decent bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Smooth, fruity and very drinkable stuff.

Cask at the Cock Tavern. It pours deep mahogany brown with a small white head. The nose is earth, dirt, wood, pine needles and a touch of dark fruit. The taste is wood, leather, twiggy, dry cocoa and some decent bitterness with a dry finish. Light body and soft carbonation. A fairly standard mild by all accounts.
