Howling Hops brew bold, modern, uncompromised, flavoursome, generously hopped beers. All our beers are unfiltered, unpasteurised and suitable for vegans. We still stick to our early philosophy of ‘make some interesting beer’, although not every one is different these days. We have a core of 4 beers that we brew regularly, a couple of beers we brew seasonally and every 3 or 4 weeks we brew a different single batch beer.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 17th April 2025. Clear , brownish red with pale tan foam and initial lacing. Malty aroma with soapy citrus notes that go on to dominate the liquid pass. A bitter finish. Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Nicely crafted.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 17th April 2025. Hazy gold with shallow off-white foam and full lacing. Spicy, fruity and hoppy in aroma. Sweet, light fruits in-mouth, and a finish of spiced malts, some grasses and a touch of smoke. A zingy mouthfeel and a fair amount of body.

Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 3rd April 2025. Dark reddish sepia brown with pale tan foam affording full but lumpy lacing. Rich roasty malt aroma. Richly malty in-mouth with cake fruits, spices and bitter chocolate. A bitter finish with grassy notes and dark chocolate. A smooth yet engaging mouthfeel and a full body. Superb. I had another!

1/2 pint draft @ Howling Hops.

1/2 pint draft @ Howling Hops.
