Can that I picked up from Beer Republic and consumed at home in the company of Jonas, Ursula and Marko Friday 7th February 2025 listening to ByteFM, we had Beef Stifado and a Greek Salad for tea tonight. Pours warm light amber with a white rim, quite orangey but this is a confused beer with a cocktail of things going on. Not necessarily getting the cherry puree however the grape brandy barrel influence is more prominent.

Can. Amber, slightly cloudy. Booze, cheese. Fizzy, dough, veggies; butter aftertaste. Weird.

Can. Deep golden red amber, no head. Peach schnapps, belgian yeast, honeyish, dry indian spice, light blue cheese, sticky finish, a bit muddled.

Canned (Feb 20th 2020), thx Fin & Loz for sharing with us! Lightly hazy lightly reddish amber body, almost no head. Caramel banana and wood notes, dried fruity, some orange candy. Lean, dry body, milk-caramelly, lightly oxidized, light orange, vaguely yeasty, bit warming. I mean... maybe a bit past its prime, has some interesting aspects, but eh.

(Bottle) Black colour with brief, frothy, pale brown head. Malty, roasted nose with dark chocolate, espresso, dark bread, soy sauce, vanilla, nuts and prunes. Malty, roasted, sweet taste with notes of dark chocolate, strong black coffee, dark bread, soy sauce, vanilla, liquorice, prunes, cinnamon and a generous cacao bitterness in the finish. Full body, sweet. Rich and tasty. Very nice.

Can from Beer Republic. Aroma is fairly heavy on the strawberries with some rhubarb and doughy malt. Flavour is sweeter than expected with a mild tartness. Body is medium. I would have liked more tartness and less sweetness.

Can from Beerdome. Aroma is roasty coffee with oak barrel notes, caramel, roasted malt, coffee beans, touch of cocoa. Modest bittersweetish flavour with a medium body. Good Coffee Porter with some subtle notes from the barrel.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is fruity hops with citrus, tropical notes, grass, pineapple, melon. Description states Sabro hop but I also get some Sorachi Ace, first time I notice the similarity. Flavour is moderate to medium bitter and lightly sweet. Medium body. Enjoyable.
