Pint can. Pours a crystal clear yellow gold color with a small fizzy white head that soon disappears. The aroma is mild with some herbal noble hops and grains. The taste also features mild spicy hops, grains and breads. The palate is light and crisp with soft carbonation. Finishes short and dry. Overall: Decent--a good basic lager without any of the corn sweetness I have come to expect in US lagers.

Can from Beergium. Aroma is dark malt, surprisingly potent coffee, caramel, cocoa, dark bread, nut, some toffee, chocolate, with a slight hoppy touch. Flavour is medium sweet and bitter. Body is above medium. Rich with plenty of coffee and cocoa, tasty stuff.

Bottle from Beergium. Aroma is sweet ripe fruits, spicy yeast, bready malt, touch of wheat, clove, with notes of citrus and candied stone fruits Flavour is rather sweet for a the style, almost sugary, with a hint of tartness and a light bitter finish. Body is medium. Okay-ish, a bit disappointing, too sweet and lacking complexity, body is nice. Not my kind of Saison at all.

Bottle from Flink Gegist, Delft. Aroma is resinous hops, lots of pine resin, malt, soft tropical fruits, grapefruit, citrus, orange, touch of caramel. Flavour is above moderate sweet with a very strong bitter finish. Alcohol is well hidden, there’s only a hint of it. Body is medium. Loads of resinous hops and fruits in this classic boldly hopped and bitter IIPA.

Can from Sterk Amsterdam. Old can, noting this down for a re-rate. Aroma is resinous hops, citrussy hops, grainy malt, pine resin, orange, grapefruit. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a bitter finish. Body is medium. Nicely piney and fruity, classic royally hopped IPA, adding .1 to compensate for lack of freshness.

Can that I picked up from Beer Republic and consumed at home in the company of Jonas, Ursula and Marko Friday 7th February 2025 listening to ByteFM, we had Beef Stifado and a Greek Salad for tea tonight. Pours warm light amber with a white rim, quite orangey but this is a confused beer with a cocktail of things going on. Not necessarily getting the cherry puree however the grape brandy barrel influence is more prominent.

Can. Amber, slightly cloudy. Booze, cheese. Fizzy, dough, veggies; butter aftertaste. Weird.

Can. Deep golden red amber, no head. Peach schnapps, belgian yeast, honeyish, dry indian spice, light blue cheese, sticky finish, a bit muddled.
