Draft at Stone Liberty Station. Black color brown head. Aroma of pine boughs coated with dark chocolate and dipped in espresso. Taste is bitter burnt pine resin and espresso pots left on the stove too long. The beer of the trip so far, RBWG 2018

Pours a really fucking clear amber from a bottle. Unassuming tropical fruit aroma and flavor, a little pine? Maybe? Not bad, not great, just good.

Bottle at LKS. It pours clear pale gold with a bubbly white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, clean, icing sugar, candied citrus fruits, melon, pear, apple, toasty grain and white bread. The taste is dry, clean, bitter, pithy, zesty, soapy, grapefruit, lemon rind, pear drops, apple skin, grassy, straw and peppery spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Chuggable.

Bottle shared at Leightons place 18/01/2018. Many thanks! A clear pale golden coloured pour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is nice fresh pine hop with citrus rind and midget gems. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, resinous hop, pine, orange rind crisp gains. Nice solid old school ipa. Palate is semi sweet resinous hop, frothy carbonation. Good well made.

Bottle split at Bodney Mansions, thanks to Kenny, 18/01/18. Almost clear golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is grassy hop, caramel malts, straw, light spice, old skool exhaust, pine, grapefruit. Taste comprises caramel, light pine needle, toasted bread, melon, orange pith, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with grassy hop bitterness. Decent clean drinking old skool IPA.

Bodney Towers Bottleshare. Light haze on this gold beer, decent cream colour head. Airy palate, smooth and semi dry and with decent fine carbonation. Touch of bready grain in the otherwise smooth sweetish malts. Good smooth pine and mild orange and tangerine. Mild hop spice on the light finish. Nice enough, would have liked cleaner malts.

Bottle shared in Hackney - many thanks to Kenny. Pours clear yellow-gold with a foamy, pure white head. Lightly faded pine needles in the aroma, lemon peel, dried pale bread. Light to medium sweet flavour with moderate piney bitterness, citrus peel, crispy pale malts. Medium bodied, lightly oily, with fine to average carbonation. Somewhat resinous in the finish, some pithy grapefruit, more lemon rind, dried pale malts, pine needles. Nice IPA.

On tap at Stone's Brewery in Escondido, 14th Jan 2018. Misty orange pint, wispy white topping. Dank hops ruled the aroma and taste, fairly bitter too. The hop content gave an earthy, piney flavour to the brew and someone forgot to add any malts into the kettle.

On tap at Growler Guys, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, biscuity malt and light booze underneath. Flavour is balanced, with candied sweetness and resinous hops. Solidly balanced, with a medium sweetness on the finish. Very good.
