Thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass golden/copper coloured, nice head. Starts quite malty, dry, light hints of caramel. Some woody hints. Finish simple malty, could be more complex. Okay.

Bottle at restaurant, Berlin. The colour is cloudy dark amber with a medium, creamy, beige head. Fruity aroma of banana, spices, leather, citrus, brown sugar and dried fruit. The flavour is similar and sweet, and with a touch of hops in the end. Has a slightly sour, slick and light mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A solid but light weizen. Interesting touch from the darker malts used.

Bottle at RBESG 2014 Grand Tasting. It pours clear amber with a decent white head. The nose is toasted grain, spice, hay, ginger and earth. The taste is crisp, toasty, grain, mild sweetness and caramel with a short, dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Fairly simple.

Bottle at RBESG 2014 Grand Tasting. It pours hazy gold with a small white head. The nose is toasted grain, grassy, mild sweetness and sponge cake. The taste is crisp, light bitter, some alcohol, tart fruits, lemon, apple, pear and candy. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not 100% sure that the tart fruitiness is meant to be there, but I don’t mind it. Alright.

0,5 l bottle. Pours clear amber in the glass, small light tanned head. Malty with a sweetness like strawberries on the nose. Starts malty, light sweetness, hints auf strawberries. Later more hopy influences, roasted malt and metallic nuances. Low bitterness in the aftertaste. Okay, but not a masterpiece like it is called in the commercial description.

On tap at restaurant in Berlin. The colour is clear mahogny with a medium, creamy, light beige head. Has a malty aroma of leather, dried fruit, wood, fudge and some bisquit. The flavour has more malt and is light with wood and some hops, and is a little dry in the end. Has a slightly sour and slick mouth feel, and a light to medium bitterness. An okay ale that is pretty bitter. Not far from a British bitter actually.
