Description

Bottle, slight skunk nose. Pour is very light pale and clear. First taste is a little heavy on the veggie side of cabbage. No real date on the bottle but the code is L108142445? Does this mean it was made in 8/14/2024? Can't find info on what that means. If that's the case no wonder its a little skunky, hehehehh. That skunk cabbage nose is really affecting the flavor. I bet this is an old bottle. Decent level of carbonation but could use a tad more. Overall, just wish it was a little cleaner, maybe at least it could live up to the way it looked, not smelled.

Bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a crystal clear straw gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Light herbal aromas with mineral and faint lemon notes as it warms. Light crackery malt notes with more straw, herbal notes and mineral. Balanced finish, very drinkable.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Clear dark gold/light amber with small white top which fades. Pleasant aroma of banana, cereals and spice hints. Taste of banana bread, caramel, peach, light clove. Medium bodied, long moderate bitterness. Its good but I'm not loving it like some. Maybe inconsistent batches?

Bottle from LCB, consumed 1 month past BBE. This marks my 200th beer from Germany. Clear gold with nicely formed white head. Good hoppiness to the aroma with citrus and grassy notes with a clean pilsner malt. Taste follows aroma, lemon and spicy grass notes from the hops. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi-sweet and bitter. Very nice balance but if I was being critical I would prefer a bit more bite in the finish.
