Description

From one rio Getränkmarkt, Winterthur, april 2025. Opening the bottle today, receive my wife coming from Sevilla. I could say a vollbier with a bit more alcool, malt, smooth, sweet, German hop, bitter, a classic for the lips.

Bottle from Bottle Baron (2018) and House Of Trembling Madness (2023 and 2026). Clear ruby/amber body with a thin beige head that slowly fades. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of raisins, hard candy, malt loaf and toffee. Flavour of prunes, vine tomatoes, caramel and brown bread. Medium body with a slick, slightly sticky mouthfeel. Light fizz. A tasty beer, sweet and moreish.

Backlog November 2013. Dark amber body under a small off-white head. Aroma seems to have this kind of sweetness with malt, dry fruit and caramel. Taste is sweet like aroma with malt, caramel, dry fruit and low bitterness. Fine body with long, lasting sweet aftertaste. Nice.

Drank it directly from the bottle, so can't say much about this beer. Nose and flavor is Helles, that's for sure. Easy to drink,

Tap at Museumsstüberl. Dark clear chestnut. Roasted, nuts, caramel, some edge, fruity. Juicy chewy, but a bit harsh, roasted. Then buttery roasted caramel, slightly sticky, sweet. Missing the fluff, and could be a bit fuller, rounder. Not undrinkable.

It is one of my favourite pils, just the paradise during the summer, in the swimming pool with our beautiful Léman lake, bitter, aromatic, 06.12.18, I drank it at Munich the last time, I must try it again.
