Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Dark brown beer lasting tan head. Chocolate lime aroma. Chocolate on mouth some roast. Well it’s a black ipa. As one its ok Elav produce decent beers. Typicl chocolate lime flavour with a black ipa. A little light in the malt which has some good dark tar choc flavour. Ok .

Slightly unclear medium amber colour, small fizzy off-white head, dissipates quickly, fair lacing. Aroma roasted malt, caramel, honey, tangerine, alcohol, earthy and spicy notes. Taste light heavy sweet and medium bitter, malty, honey, fortified wine, bit wood, peppery. Malty sweetbitter aftertaste, sugary, woody, spicy notes, warming alcohol. Full-bodied, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation, heavy duty stuff but well-balanced and rich of aroma and taste.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Dark amber brown slight haze lasting cream head. Hoppy grapefruit aroma. Decent light session ipa. Good session ipa. Good sweetness from the malt and then goid fruit and some bitterness. Loved the pink grapefruit i was really impressed. The balance of hop fruit and malt sweetness and backbone.

Bottle. Almost completely black color, light tan head. Aroma has pine, light spice, black pepper, coffee. Taste has peppery roast. Tasty.

Draught at Delirium Cafe, Caen, on March 22, 2017. At a cost of €4.20 for 25 cl (for 50 cl it was €7.80).Black color, light brown head. Roasted, a tad sweet, light fruity, minerals taste. Roasted, mineral, light bitter aftertaste. Medium, a bit flat, mouthfeel. Medium low bitterness. Mild toffee scent.

Tap at La Fine Mousse, 22nd March 17. Pours dark Amber. Aroma is caramel, citrus, toasted malts. Taste is caramel, bitter, soft mouth feel. Tasty and good balance sweet and bitter.

Black with thin creamy head. Aroma is quite floral. Flavour has some sweet liquorice at first. Pepper and roasted, bitter malts finish it off.
