An orange beer, a head is quite small and blond. Aroma has mangos, grapefruits, some flowers and chalk. Taste has grapefruits, some tropical notes, dry chalk. Too much of chalk, otherwise good beer.

4th Aug 2016: shared 330ml bottle with minutemat. Brought home from Barcelona and the RBESG. Really enjoyed this ’Black Indian Pepper Ale’. Deep, dark brown body, red hue: beige topping. A malty and fruity nose is followed by a taste that is very similar in nature, dark, rich maltiness and dark berries but with a sprinkling of black pepper to add some spiciness. Very easy to drink and slightly different to most BIPA’s.
