Aus der Flasche (Vintage 2014) im 2023-11 getrunken. Diese schwere Belgier kommt mit wunderbaren Malz- und Sultaninen Aromen daher. Der Körper ist perfekt und bildet ein wunderbaren Mundgefühl. Die gut 8 Jahre lange Flaschenreifung hat dem Bier nicht geschadet.

Refrigerated 19.2 oz can poured into a glass. Clear golden with small white head. Aroma is light blackberry, medium body, medium/lower carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is light malt, some tartness, and a little blackberry.

It pours not quite black (very dark brown) with a finger of off white foam, good lacing.
The smell is chocolate, roasted malt, some hints of lactose, toffee.
The taste is good notes of semi sweet chocolate, toffee, roasted malt, fudge like flavour when I swish the beer in my mouth. Maybe a hint of lactose.
Rather nice thickish mouthfeel for a 6.5%abv brew, which I dig. I like it.

6/12/2023. Bottle shared by Colin, cheers. Pours clear amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is malted, brown bread, dried fruits, ripe banana, apricot, candy sugar, toffee. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation. Quite solid.
