Description
For nearly twenty five years, our mission here at Smuttynose has remained the same: to brew the best beer we can in a way we can be proud of. That includes honoring New England’s rich beermaking history, respecting our environment, and playing an active role in our community.
We value creativity, quality, authenticity and sustainability, but it really boils down to making great beers to enjoy with friends and family. We hope you love drinking our beers as much as we love brewing them. Cheers!

Sample at the NH Brewfest in Portsmouth 10/14/23. Pours lightly hazy deep brown color with a bubbly tan head that persists. Sweet bready and hint of caramel and chocolate with almost too much sweet maple and hints of bacon. Interesting.

Bottle shared at craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks. A clear amber orange coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is stale grains, nutty bready malts, orange, clove, grass, alcohol, jammy apple, custard. Nutty. Brown sugars. Palate is flabby, semi sweet, light tangy, mellow carbonation,. Too old.

Bottle share at CBJ. Thanks to LKS. A light haze on this dirtyish gold beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Light palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Typical tripel malts, vaguely wheaty. Ripe fruits on the back end into some floralness and soft esters. Decent.

Had few on draft at post race after party on beach while listening to classic rock cover band. Dull gold colored. Nose is bready. Tastes of pale malt, bread, hint of fruit. Refreshing.

Viisakas brown ale, aga no brown ale on võrdlemisi igav stiil, seega väga mingeid tundeid ei tekita..
