Description
Opened on 14th May 1997, The Inveralmond Brewery is at the very heart of our beer. Situated in Perth, the brewery nestles between the fabulous rolling hills of Perthshire, the mighty Grampian mountain range and is surrounded by crystal clear rivers, providing inspiration and nourishment for the beers we produce and export around the globe.

The brewery moved during March 2010 to their current location where a 30BBL plant is used. During April 2016 they were taken over by Innis & Gunn.

From a bottle at home in Aberfoyle. Clear golden color, little white head. Just a nice taste, fresh, but in my opinion just a normal "pils".

Bottle from Coop, Kirkwall. Májkrémes, gyógyszeres mellékíz, egy rosszabb dobozosra emlékeztet.

Cask at GBBF. It pours clear copper with a thick foamy white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, sticky, toffee, dried fruit, wood, vanilla, raisin, fruit cake and brown bread. The taste is dry, soft, sweet, wood, leather, tannin, fruit tea, fruit cake, raisin, brown bread, brown sugar and candy with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Peach ice tea vibe. Fair enough.

Cask at GBBF. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, lemony, lemongrass, spice, nutmeg, toasty grain, cereal and such like. The taste is dry, bitter, spice, fragrant, straw, grass, grain, tannin, wood, grapefruit and pepper with a very drying finish. Light - medium body and soft carbonation. Not sure the balance is there.
