Description
Opened on 14th May 1997, The Inveralmond Brewery is at the very heart of our beer. Situated in Perth, the brewery nestles between the fabulous rolling hills of Perthshire, the mighty Grampian mountain range and is surrounded by crystal clear rivers, providing inspiration and nourishment for the beers we produce and export around the globe.

The brewery moved during March 2010 to their current location where a 30BBL plant is used. During April 2016 they were taken over by Innis & Gunn.

Cask at Archibald Simpsons, Aberdeen. It pours clear golden - amber with a small fluffy white head. The aroma is toasty grains, cereal, malt - driven, woody, earth, twiggy, kinda perfumed and dull citrus. The taste is dry, bitter, toasty grains, cereal, nuttiness, bitter - sweet, toffee, woody, earthy, muted marmalade and herbal/spicy notes with a dry, toasty finish. Average body and soft carbonation. A bit too spicy and dry, not as drinkable.as I would have liked.

Festival pint draft at Hebrides West End, Edinburgh, Scotland. Cask pour. It is a very nitro pour and now is a clear dark gold color with a small, creamy, tight white head and excellent retention. Virtually no aroma. Super creamy mouthfeel. Malty lager taste with some bread. This is a very well made golden ale. Really clean and easy drinking, but not the most flavorful. So it's lovely to drink, but not excellent taste. But not bad taste either. Medium body and low carbonation as suggested by the cask pour. Zero bitterness.

Kicsi, nem túl tartós hab, vörösesbarna szín. Gabonás, karamelles illat. Enyhén savanykás, karamelles, malátás íz. Könnyű, enyhén szénsavas, alig keserű.

Black pour, medium beige head. Roasty Aroma, but also semi sweet, with what I imagine is oatmeal, and roasted coffee. Watery mouth feel, super soft carb. Finish is lightly bitter, sweet roasted coffee and bitter cocoa. Not bad, not great.

mild caramel aroma, with some malt, and dark fruit. flavour is sweet, and malty. Nice sweet/bitter finish. leaves a tiny bit og a hop flavour in my throat, a nice ale.
