Bottled 500ml. -Black coloured, small pale beige head, buttery caramel nose. Roasted malt, caramel and burnt sugar with strong licorice presence. Some fruity chocolate notes in the finish. Not so good and a way too sweet porter.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma with some hints of coffee. Sweetish roasted malty chocolate and caramel flavor. Has a sweetish roasted malty chocolate finish.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Clear. Caramel, walnuts and hazelnuts in the aroma. Malty sweet flavor with toffee and walnuts. Hint of roast. Sweet but delicious. Walnut aftertaste. Sticky mouthfeel.

Bottle (label says 5.8%): Deep ruby amber coloured, very small fluffy beige head; sweet burnt malt, rye bread, coffee and molasses in the nose; moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, sticky; sweet coffee and burnt malt in the lingering sweet finish. Far too sweet "coffee".....

German Ulfborg tasting 09. Bottle. Pours pitch black with a small creamy brown head and lacings. Roast, caramel, sugar and bread. Rye-bread. Smooth and creamy. Dry end. Tasty.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear warm reddish brown with a beige head. Sweet aroma of burned caramel, pumpernickel and a little diacetyl. Solid malty body, roasted malts, licorice and burned caramel. A little warming alcohol in the finish. Pleasant. 031009

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear golden with a white head. Sweet butter aroma. Medium body, sweet malt and a shitload of diacetyl. A little sulphur also with a dryish finish. Not so good. 021009

Bottle at GBBF ... dark brown ... thin tan head ... sweet cherry and roast malt ... touch artificial nose ...soft with a light bitter roast up front ... lots of caramalised sugers ... light bitterness ... some dark cherry

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt, and a bit of sulphur. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and cardboard, leading to a dry bitter and cardboardy finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.
