Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a thick black with moderate sized beige head. Aroma of coffee, liquorice, roasted malt, caramel; some sweetness hinted at but suggestions it could be quite rich for a lager. Taste follows aroma, deep and flavourful, not overly rich but not your average sessionable dark lager either. Medium bodied, oily, soft carbonation, drying. I like it.

330ml Bottle from Beers of Europe. New brewery and region for me. Pours a clear amber with small off white head, lasts well. Aroma of sweet caramel malts, brown bread, nuts, a light fruitiness. Taste of sweet malts, hovis bread, some grains, caramel, dried mixed fruit, light spice. Quite a sweet finish so could have done with more bitterness to offset. Medium body and carbonation. Its nice but a bit rich for an amber beer so 330ml is the right dose.

Almost clear golden beer. Aroma of grainy malt, straw, cereals, citra. Taste of mild citrusy hops, pale malt, cereals and breadish malt.

0,33 l bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! Murky amber in the glass with a more than one finger short living Taste starts with caramel, some herbs and vegetables, sweetness. head. Sweet malty aroma with caramel. Below average carbotion. Okay.

500 ml can from Coop in Zurich, Switzerland. Merry Christmas! Pours a crystal clear pale gold color with a white head and great retention. Great lacing too. Soft pale malt aroma. The taste follows the nose: Soft pale malt flavor with a smooth finish. Nothing unique, just a good, smooth lager. Light body. Medium carbonation. Light bitterness. Good, mellow beer.
