Description
Wide Street Brewing Company specialises in mixed fermentation methods and 100% Brettanomyces beers. Our vision is to brew innovative beers with alternative fermentation methods. Our house yeast is a custom blend of Brettanomyces, saccharomyces and lactobacillus strains from Bootleg Biology, a yeast laboratory based in Nashville, USA. This gives our beer a distinctive dry mouthfeel and enhanced fruity flavours. We have released many unique styles of beers since we started in May 2019 such as saisons, grisettes and table beers as well as mixed fermentation aged sour beers. We also love experimenting with new hops and brewing styles and have recently released Farmhouse Pilsner and a Cashmere IPA with no Brettanomyces in them

ADTWD team tasting in sunny Halzlemere. Can. Just a light haze on this pale yellow gold beer, decent bubbly white head. Airy palate, fairly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Airy light bodied pale malts, a light wheaty tang. Light pine. A very mild blink-and-you-will-miss-it Motueka streak. Light finish. Nice enough palate cleanser.

Enjoyed with pad thai. Light and refreshing. I’m not picking up any lemongrass, just oats and hints of herbs.

Can at home(ish) from Craft Central. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Nose is highly pos+, some esters, the bottom of the can really needed to come out as well, before that is had a lot less character. Spicy in taste, some esters show, big time banana, decent bitterness helps rounding it out. Chuggable, nice and round
