On tap @ In De Wildeman. Crystal clear golden color with snow white head. Aroma’s of malt, both grainy and sweet, a bit grassy. Flavor is light bitter with some malty sweetness. Medium bodied. Nice (medium) bitter finish. True German Helles/Mai Bock, great example of the style.

Bottled 500ml. -Slight hazy golden coloured, small to medium sized white head, touch of honey in the nose. Sweet malty, grainy and light herbal with notes of honey. Also some grassy notes in the finish. Boring.

Bottle @ Home. Pours yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, grain, light fruit, grassy hops. Flavor of malt, sweet apples, grass, flowery hops. Medium body, soft carbonation, slightly bitter finish. Nice. 110912

Tap at the Brauhaus - 27/04/12. Cloudy orange with a large white head. Banana, wheat and a fruity aroma backed up with cloves. Sweetish in taste with banana (not overbearing) and clove and a little background citrus. Thinnish in body compared to others in this style. Would drink again but no world beater!

Tap at the Brauhaus - 27/04/12. Clear yellow in colour with a small white head. Straw and grass on the nose. Light citrusy hops and a little sweet malt in the taste and throw in a herby/spicey touch in the background. Crisp bitter finish - decent pils.

Tap at the Brauhaus - 27/04/12. Poured to a mid copper/amber colour with a thick slightly off-white head. Caramel, malts, a litttle butter on the nose. Malts (slightly roasted) were the predominant flavour, medium body/carbonation and a slightly bitter finish. Not the best beer on this trip!
