500ml bottle. Yellow with white head. Typical Franconian pilsener, rather sour than bitter. Tastes like any beer at the end of a heavy session.

50cl bottle. BBE 12/2011. Poured clear golden with a typical white head. Aroma is hay and grain. Flavor is grain, sweet malt and buttery notes. Mouthdrying finish. OK, bit too sweet for me.

Bottled 500ml. -from random store in Bamberg. Orange/amber coloured, small to medium sized off-white head that went away fast, light malty and caramel nose. Sweetish malty, caramel and light bitter grainy with hint of brown sugar in the finish. Not bad but overrated.

Bottled 500ml. -from random store in Bamberg. Yellow/pale golden coloured, small white head, light grainy nose. Sweet malty, bitterish grainy and soft grassy with pretty strong (almost aggressive) bitter finish.

Courtesy of ogovlado, thanks! Bronze body, clear. ZKL? Seriously? Off white. Nice light malty nose, light strawberry jam. Sweet, grainy. Crappy maltiness, ashy, shitty dogfood, dry, supporting a nice herbal hopiness. Bitterish aftertaste, long. Meh.

2019: Justice is slow but comes in the end. Probably. Anyway, rerate, on tap, at Zlý Časy. Clear yellow-golden body, white head. Strange aroma, fruity, flowery but apple as well... hm. Relatively full bodied for a German pils. Creamy grainy and flowery notes, light hay, medium dry bitterness. Fine enough, but interestingly imperfect. 5/4/6/3-4/13 2011: Bottle courtesy of ogivlado (thanks!). White head, disappears quickly. Grainy sweet malty nose, quite fruity and not bad at all. Grainy bitter dry taste, ashy, with a lovely piney hop presence that unfortunately turns into a sharp, ugly bitter note in te finish. Lovely flavor, terrible palate. I feel bad for rating it so low, as the things it does right it does brilliant. On the other hand... ugh... I’ll try to rerate it. 6/2/6/2/10

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear pale yellow, mid-sized, creamy white head. Hoppy nose with a touch of lemon. Elegant, but very shy malty base with lots of resiny-grassy hops and a lemony finish.
