Cycled into town (Bamberg) from our campsite just outside at Bug 17-06-10 had this on tap at the brewery tap. cloudy warm gold colour with a large white head. Nose is really clean and the yeast and banana really showing though in a slightly clinical sterile way? Bags of banana in mouth, fruity bit sweet, despite my apparent criticism I like it. Cycled into town (Bamberg) from our campsite just outside at Bug 17-06-10 had this on tap at the brewery tap. Pours amber in colour with a slim white head. The taste is bitter and not too dissimilar to a UK bitter, though clearly more lager like in style. Some dryness showing touch of fruitiness, its fine. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Bottle, from trade with Koelschtrinker. It’s a clear, golden beer with an off-white head of moderate size. Malty, sweetish aroma with a nices fruityness. Sweet, malty flavor, some grainyness, and a pleasant fruityness leading into a finish with some bitterness. Medium to full body, quite dry. A straight forward beer, easy to drink and quite tasteful. 091120

50cl Bottle at In de Wildeman, sold as a dunkel lager. Clear amber colour, dense white head. Aroma of caramel, light spices, some hops and grain. Flavour is light sweet, malty, caramel, light prickly and hoppy, metallic and hoppy bitter finish. Thin bodied, watery mouthfeel at times. Still an OK beer, grows on you with every sip. Not outstanding though.

Cloudy amber golden color. Very spicey apple pie and sour apples in the nose. Apple pie and caramel dominate the mouth and finish. Creamy. Very interesting. Lovely.

2011-02-12, draught at Stillbruche, Bamberg, 5-2-6-3-11= 27
Blond color; eggwhite style head. Very light malt aroma, maybe lemony. Dry mouthfeel, dry malt flavor, with a delicate lemon touch; strong bitterness. Easy, but not bad.
2009-11-27, draught at Ølbaren, Copenhagen, 6-3-7-4-14=34
Pale blond color, but quite nice head, generous. Mild aroma, but pleasantly crispy, with light hops too. It has a pleasant malt, cereals and straw flavor, with a light presence of the desired crispness. Average bitterness. There is a light citrus touch too. Pleasant and refreshing Pilsner.
