50cl bottle @ home shared by Dutchdrebus. Clear rusty copper to amber color, full sized white to off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma malts and a bit wort. Taste malts, firm bitterness, a hint of tea. Medium body and carbonation. Not bad but I don’t really like the aroma.

Bottle @ benxai shared by me. Clear amber colour with a medium sized white head. Smells malts and wort. Tastes malts, slightly sweet, some wort, some caramel. Thin to medium body, soft carbo.

Draught @ Akkurat. A super hoppy pils with heavy notes of citrus and herbs. Nice edgy bitterness. Also some sweet notes of pear. A bit too carbonated to be a true winner, but still a world class pils. Would love to try it from cask!

Bamberger Bierwochenende, Bier Nr. 2. - Vom Faß bei Keesmann-Bräu, Bamberg. - Goldbraun, klar. Volle, malzig-karamellige Aromen. Malzsüß aber nicht dick. Mild rezent, süffig. Nur leicht gehopft, aber mit angenehmer fruchtiger, leicht kühler Herbe im Abgang. - Perfekte Balance zwischen Karamelmalz und dezent fruchtigem Hopfen. Dennoch keine ernsthafte Konkurrenz für das großartige Herren-Pils.

Bamberger Bierwochenende, Bier Nr. 1. - Vom Faß bei Keesmann-Bräu, Bamberg. - Goldgelb, klar. Dem Glas entsteigt ein betörender Duft nach fruchtig-vollem Hopfen: Grapefruit, tropische Frucht - man fühlt sich an ein IPA erinnert. Auch der Antrunk wird von herrlich intensiven Hopfenaromen beherrscht. Dahinter zart honigsüßes Malz. Vollmundig; sahniges Mundgefühl. Im Abgang grasig-harzige Hopfenbittere; wunderbar hopfenaromatischer, lang anhaltender bitterer Nachtrunk. - Runder, mit volleren Hopfenaromen und etwas süßer als ich es aus der Flasche in Erinnerung hatte, wo zitroniger Hopfen und Pampelmusenschale ein schlankes, trockenes Pils dominierten. So oder so ein Spitzenpils; vom Faß unschlagbar. - Hat lt. Speisekarte und Flaschenetikett 4,8 %, nicht 4,6 % wie hier angegeben.

Bamberg Bash Day 1.Draft at the brewpub. Clear rich amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate starts smooth but has a minerally crisp trailing edge. Smooth clean malt, whisper of caramel and very light dry malt cream. Very light citric touch to the mellow hops. Crisp minerally finish. Well joined up and refreshing and easy drinking.
