Absolutely huge, fine-bubbled, faint yellowish head; very pale yellow, hazy beer with faint greenish shine. Chalk, vanilla, bit oppressive nose, fruity; oranges and some banana. I get a whiff of preserved ginger too, but no cloves. Fresh citrussy taste, wheat. Again very little spiceyness: no cloves, just maybe some peppery impression in the finish. Quite sparkling Weisse (second in a row). Rather light body, but nearly velvety wheat feel. OK Weisse, different from the other Bamberg area ones.

Bottle: Very pale golden, a bit hazy, quickly diminishing, very thin white lacing foam; aromatic floral but shy hoppiness in the aroma, traces of malts (and vegetables) too; mild bitter-aromatic flavour; very mild, very soft, nearly no bitterness in the grainy finish. Good overture, but the rest is disappointing !

(bottle) Clear yellow colour with a firm medium sized foamy white head. Aroma of grassy hops and grapefruit. Medium bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, fruity and malty taste with tinge of honey and a lasting hopbitter finish. A flavourful Pilsener.

[Draft] An orange beer with a collapsing head. The aroma is very grassy. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, hops, and yeast, leading to a dry end. The mouthfeel is sticky.

From the tap: quite pale colour; fruity and hoppy nose; well balanced and astonishingly full bodied for a Pils; well-hopped finish. This beer comes far closer to the Bohemian original than the average thin-bodied german "TV"-Pilseners.......

Draught at Hagges Bärsklubb, Nynäshamn, Sweden. Hazy pale golden. Grassy, dry and strikingly hoppy. The rich maltiness and full body is hardly noticed under the rich blanket of aromatic and bitter hops. Long, very bitter finish. Another excellent Franconian bock!

Bottle. Strong banana/orange aroma with a hint of cloves. Dark yellow color with only slight cloudiness. Flavor is very nice - primarily orange/citrus with slight clove/pepper flavor - pretty light tasting. Not your usual Weissbier.

Fully clear pale yellow; white, slim, but stable head. Nose of old rye-bread, yeast, mannah (?). Estery (unidenifyable) taste, bakery-yeasty. Hopbitter retronasal. Light bodied (more as Vollbier than Pilsener), but not thinnish - OK. Strange but nice. The ester is no off-taste.
