At the brewery tap Off-white, creamy head which diminihes mostly. Amber to golden body. Nose of cookie, grain. Moderately sweet initial flavour, lightly sweet and moderately bitter finish. So, the bitterness shows up in the end.

Draught at the brewery Fizzy, fully diminishing head. Fair lace. Clear, yellow body. Weak nose of hops. Lightly bitter initial flavour, becomes more and more bitter to the end. Very hoppy flavour. Nice pilsener, but rather one dimensional, but perhaps most of the pilseners are one dimensional.

On draught at the Brauereigasthof: Dark golden coloured, stable mid-sized white head; honey and hops in the nose; rich malty-sweetish flavour; long, dry, fine hoppy aromatic aftertaste; well balanced, warming and absolutely not sticky or cloying; well, well, well !

Absolutely huge, fine-bubbled, faint yellowish head; very pale yellow, hazy beer with faint greenish shine. Chalk, vanilla, bit oppressive nose, fruity; oranges and some banana. I get a whiff of preserved ginger too, but no cloves. Fresh citrussy taste, wheat. Again very little spiceyness: no cloves, just maybe some peppery impression in the finish. Quite sparkling Weisse (second in a row). Rather light body, but nearly velvety wheat feel. OK Weisse, different from the other Bamberg area ones.

Bottle: Very pale golden, a bit hazy, quickly diminishing, very thin white lacing foam; aromatic floral but shy hoppiness in the aroma, traces of malts (and vegetables) too; mild bitter-aromatic flavour; very mild, very soft, nearly no bitterness in the grainy finish. Good overture, but the rest is disappointing !

[Draft] An orange beer with a collapsing head. The aroma is very grassy. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, hops, and yeast, leading to a dry end. The mouthfeel is sticky.
