Half from cask at Grove Inn. Clear copper coloured body, fading off-white head blanking the upper part of the glass. Subdued aroma of mid-sweet malts and resinous hops. Caramel and leaf hoppy flavours followed by a bittersweet ending. Classic Brit bitter. Okay (Leeds Holbeck 07.07.2015).

Leeds Beer Festival 2015. Black with an off-white head. It’s not full-bodied but has plenty of roasted malt in aroma and taste alongside a light sweetness.

Cask at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured a clear straw colour with a thin whispy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is citrus hop, light yeast. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a skunky malt, light hop citrus palate. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask gravity at K&ES BF 2015. Clear amber no head. Aroma of summit hops. Lime. Some tea. Some fruit. Some bitterness. Fine. Quite dry.

13th June 2015: Cask half-pint in The Station, Oakengates. and the prize for the most boring pump clip goes too....... this beer! Luckily the actual beer is a bit more exciting. Clear golden pour with a white head that gave lacing. Multi fruit aroma and taste with an initial sweetness that slowly turned more citrus and dry as the flavours mellowed and sorted themselves out in the mouth. Decent.

Cask at Land of Liberty Peace and Plenty, Chorleywood, Herts. A golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, citrus, quite bitter and dry.

Cask @ Moon Under Water, Manchester. Golden with a small head. Hopped with a light citrus aroma and taste. Full-bodied and fairly strong.
