22oz bottle pours a dark brown, off white head. Nose is malt and barrel and booze. It's actually a nice blend of a base bock, dates and figs and raisins and caramel, barrel adds complexity. Woody, perfume, herbs and sumac. Flavor is very well blended, sweet and complex, herbal, tobacco. Long finish. Tannins. Nice.

12 oz. can from HEB in Boerne, TX. Pours a cloudy dark gold color with a khaki head and decent retention. No lacing. Aroma of sweet caramel. Likewise, candied caramel flavor. I like sweet beers, but this has almost no stout characteristics. At least it's not ashy, like most blonde stouts. Much sweeter and less nutty that the description. Medium-light body. Low carbonation. Zero bitterness. Not beery enough.

Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, blueberry, artificial, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, bubble gum. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, blueberry, artificial, wheat, fruity yeast, bubble gum. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20221209]

35cl Blik van Beer Republic. No mention of Harpoon on the label, just UFO Brewing. Iets mistig goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Zoete bosbessenbubblegum, suiker, tarwe, licht granig, iets kunstmatig, gist. Niet ondrinkbaar maar ook niet heel aangenaam.

Beer Republic Christmas calendar #6. A golden beer, a head is quite small and blond. Arom has strong berries, maybe blueberries, natural. Taste has berries and light grain, no blueberries anymore .Medium bodied. Pretty nice berry beer, not nothing more.

#6 Beer republic advent calendar. Cloudy orange. Artificial blueberry, some citrus, bread, grain. Mild dry bitterness, some sweetness. Light bodied, oily watery, soft carbonated, mellow dry berry finish. First filler of the box.
