Description
Founded in 2012, we are the UK’s most northerly and remote brewery, based on the island of Shetland.

We are as much Scottish as we are Nordic which gives us our unique outlook on life, and it is reflected in the beers we brew.

We believe beer shouldn’t have boundaries. From lagers, to IPAs to oatmeal stouts, we have something for everyone. We brew beers that we love to drink, and we hope you enjoy them too!

Third of a cask pint at the Scottish Real Ale Festival in Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange on 7th July 2017. Copper red body, lightly tanned head of foam. Malt forward brew with a fairly sweet nature, caramel and toffee flavours and aromas from start to finish. One for my sweet tooth.

Cask at Counting House, Glasgow. It pours hazy dark red - brown with a medium beige head. The aroma is rich, malty, spicy, tangy chilli, honey, juniper, cranberry, bakewell tart and marzipan. The taste is bitter - sweet, rather spicy, peppery, chilli, warming spice, ginger, candied peel, marzipan, bakewell tart, cherry balm, honey, earth, wood and leather with a spicy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not what I was expecting from these guys, but not try. Quite a lot going on, but perhaps a bit too spicy and chewy. Alright.
