Description
Mordue Brewery built up a local strong and loyal customer base which saw demand require no less than 3 expansions of brewery, from the original West Chirton site to a huge brewery in the Tyne Tunnel estate. This new range of beers gained both local and national awards. Mordue ceased brewing on 6th June 2019 and subsequently the brew equipment was auctioned.

However later in 2019 the Mordue brand was relaunched by the Blue Brewing Co. a gypsy brewery which is owned by a group of North Easterners with a wide background of skills who came together, not only to keep the Mordue beers alive but also for their shared passion for Craft Beer.
