This clear golden brew is a pleasant lager. There’s bready, biscuity malt and it’s somewhat sweet with a hint of honey. Very mild hops. Refreshing.

Very dark brown almost black with a small tan head. Aroma is chocolate. Taste is chocolate flavored oatmeal with coffee on the side..

12 oz can from Beerbox. Aroma has notes of candy sweet malt, pine, grapefruit. Taste is moderately too highly bitter based by that aforementioned candy sweet malt. Citrusy, piney hop flavors compliment the malt. A pleasant surprise, much better than I was expecting.

12 oz can from Total Wine. Pours a clear gold color with a very small white head and fair retention. No lacing. Not as cloudy as typical Kellerbiers. Standard pale malt aroma. Standard pale lager flavor too, maybe with some light honey notes. Slightly sweet. Crisp. Clean. Easy drinking. Mellow. A good anytime beer. Medium-light body. Medium carbonation. Not bitter.

Tap at Lakefront. Nice ruby red body, thin off white head. Pleasantly classical US brewpub version. Deep English malt tones. Wimpy Fuggles balance, but still pleasant. Almost a cherry woodtone from the malts, yeast. Good, but exemplifies how US brewers can't really make great UK styles these days.

Tap at Lakefront. A rather solid Grisette type creature. Peppery funky high temp pushed yeast...maybe not so expert there. Body is light and mellow. Needs a pinch more zest, hop balance. OK.

Nitro pour at Lakefront. More Orange than Creamsicle, way too light on the lactose/vanilla. Appealing to a 14 year old with bad beer taste perhaps, this is really lifeless, sweet, artificial. No way I'd ever order it again.

Tap at Lakefront. After drinking Working Draft Czech stuff, this just doesn't compare. A nice enough Amber lager,.perhaps a little too fruity with the hops, not bitter enough.Decent enough Amber Bock, but not really much of a Polotmavy.
