12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 5/29/2015. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy pale golden color with a 2 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon zest, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, orange peel, light pine, cracker, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with bright citrus/tropical hops and light-moderate pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon zest, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, orange peel, pine, cracker, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon/orange peel, tangerine, pineapple, peach, passion fruit, pine, cracker, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity and robustness of bright citrus/tropical/piney hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a crisp malt/bitterness balance; with some lingering bitterness after the finish, but it doesn’t get too astringent. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, and resinous/sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice SMaSH pale ale. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical/piney hops and light-moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. Needs to be toned down on bitterness since there is only Pilsner malt for balance, but otherwise really enjoyable.

Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle bottled on November 20, 2014 from clown issuer poured into a glass. Black with small beige head. Aroma is dark malt, medium body, medium carbonation, creamy texture, and good small-bubble lacing. Taste is dark malt, chocolate, nice whiskey, some wood, and some alcohol. Way better than the other Delusion.

Pours lightly hazy bright orange color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of big mango, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big mango, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, tangerine, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, honey, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Good amount of pine/citrus rind bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of mango, peach, pineapple, passion fruit, tangerine, lemon/orange zest, pine, honey, bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for good bit. Damn nice complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale malt sweetness; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth and fairly creamy/sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with only a slight warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is a very nice IPA. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of bright citrus/tropical hops and moderate pale malt sweetness; and very smooth to drink for the ABV. Bottle @ home via trade. Thanks to my pal in Michigan! Pours a black appearance with a thin brown head. The aroma is heavy booze and some fusels. Lots of whiskey, caramel, chocolate, some coconut. Smells fine besides the over powering booze. Medium full body. A touch of dark fruit. Some and tannins. A lot of chocolate and caramel. Pretty good.

Aromas of big maple, molasses, chocolate, cocoa, caramel, toast, dark bread, raisin, plum, light nuttiness, herbal, grass, light pepper/pine, and yeast/roasted earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/roast/bready malt, maple, earthy hops, and light-moderate fruity yeast notes; with good strength. Taste of big maple, molasses, chocolate, cocoa, caramel, toast, dark bread, raisin, plum, light nuttiness, herbal, grass, light pepper/pine, and yeast/roasted earthiness. Fair amount of pine/roasted bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of maple, molasses, chocolate, cocoa, caramel, toast, dark bread, raisin, plum, light nuttiness, light pepper, and herbal/roasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice robustness, complexity, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, maple, earthy hops, and light-moderate fruity yeast flavors; with a great roasted bitterness/sweetness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a very smooth, creamy, and lightly sticky/chalky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a light warmth lingering after the finish. Overall this is a damn nice imperial brown ale! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/roast/bready malt, maple, earthy hops, and light-moderate fruity yeast flavors; and very smooth to sip on for the big ABV. A very enjoyable offering.

On tap at Seva Detroit. Deep brown pour with a white head. Raisin aroma that’s slightly boozy. Flavor also of raisin, with some toasty malt mixed in there, definitely with a boozy feel to it. Not bad.

bottle - Pours cloudy orange with a small head. It has a mild, grainy, bready malt aroma. Taste is sweet and malty with a slight presence of hops bitterness at the end. It’s not bad but seems kind of lacking in the crisp/refreshing and fruity/spicy areas that can make a wheat ale more enjoyable.

bottle - Pours black with a small tan head. It smells of dark roast malt, chocolate, and some coffee. It tastes similar with a solid balance of sweet malt and bitterness from ample hops with a finishing roasted character. Full bodied. Really good.
