$2 shelf at Knightly. Bottled Jan '16. Few weeks in the fridge. Lo-ball glass at home. Hazy, uniform, dark plum pour. Thin off-white head. Quick sizzle. Old oak, dark berry skin, black pepper, grape juice nose. Very slight brett & accompanying foam over. Really strong, obvious & lingering blueberry skin, red wine. Bittersweet. Vodka & strong ale if you look for it. More warming than straight up hot. Medium high acid, medium tartness, lactic, bold tannins, kinda thin. Dry finish. Pretty good.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Orangeish amber colour with a tiny off-white head, which vanishes quite fast. Aroma is floral, rosehip, some plum and mild herbal tones. Flavour is not too sweet toffeeish tones with some floral, mild rosehip, a bit salty, tart, and non-sweet strawberries. Quite a nice brew, even though it at first was rather strange.
