16oz can pours a murky burnt orange with some lacey white head. Nose has dried pine and dried citrus and potpourri. Paper. Malt in the mouth, big dried citrus. Herbs. Soap. Full bodied, bitter but a bit flabby. Meh. 6 6 5.5 5 5.5

Bottiglia. Al naso l'aroma rimanda al luppolo. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata, permanendo in maniera sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di aspetto velato. Il colore è ramato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è carico. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, amaretto, frutta secca, pane cotto di recente, luppolo, resina, pino, agrumi, pompelmo, ananas e frutto della passione.

Clear dark reddish brown beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of intense coffee, sour lemon, roasted malt. Taste of roasted dark malt, coffee, resinous hops, long bitter finish.

300ml draught at Baixa Bar in Albir. Next-to-clear ruby-brown body, filmy layer, dotted spots on the glass. Caramel-fruity aromas, promising. Mixed taste of dark fruits, caramel, and, oak. A bourbon touch to a semi-sweet malty ending. Well bodied. Pretty good. (Albir, 24.02.2024).

On tap @ Beers & Travels, Valencia. A hazy copper-hued pour with a bone-colored, medium thick head. Aroma is conifers galore: cedrus, pine needle, resin. There's a hint of bitter orange and peach as well. Taste is dry, crisp and ultra-bitter. Not so long aftertaste.

Bottle from the Valencia Market. At 5.4% Pours hazy amber with a thick off-white head. A lively pour that doesn't bode well I fear. There's a few lumps and it's very fizzy. Aromas is slightly sour, but the malt and toffee notes come through. Taste is light cocoa and toffee, faint herbs. Light sour finish.
